5 Simple Steps to a Well Organised Pantry
Have you ever found yourself wondering how to organise your Pantry? Well with a few clever tips, and our pantry organisation ideas, we can turn it into a place of order and simplicity, saving you a lot of time in the long run.
Step 1
The best way to do this is by pulling everything out of the pantry and starting with a blank canvas.
This is also a great opportunity to give the shelves a wipe down and check all the dates on your products, you’ll be surprised what you will find.
Step 2
This next part is decanting dry goods into airtight clear containers. I always give a lot of thought as to what size container to use.
Firstly, how often do I use this ingredient? What pack sizes do I buy it in? Knowing these two things allows me to work out which size container I need. Clear containers make life so much easier. You can clearly see what’s in there or when it comes to grocery shopping, you can easily see which ingredients are running low.
Our Plastic Push Top Containers, or Glass Jars with Bamboo Lids are a great option for clear storage.
Step 3
Labels Labels Labels. Adding Vinyl Labels allows you to easily maintain the system you have put in place, and finding items while cooking will become a lot quicker.
Plus they look amazing!
Step 4
Add use by date labels to ingredients with a short shelf life.
Step 5
The fun part, arranging it back in the pantry. Do this when you have some spare time up your sleeve, as it can be an enjoyable experience when not rushed.
